What this website collects
This website has no forms and no user accounts: browsing it creates no record of you and no profile.
It uses Plausible Analytics to see which pages are visited and improve the site. This is a cookie-free analytics tool that does not store your IP address, does not follow you across other sites and cannot identify you: it produces only aggregate figures — page views, country, device type and where visitors arrived from.
It is not a third-party service such as Google Analytics: the software runs on a server of our own, managed by the person responsible for the website’s technical upkeep, and the data is not shared with anyone and never leaves that server.
The server hosting the website logs the requests it receives — IP address, date, page requested and browser — for the sole purpose of keeping the service running and secure. These logs are kept for a short period, are not used to build profiles and are not linked to any identified person.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies, neither its own nor third-party ones, and stores nothing in your browser. It uses no fonts loaded from external servers and no embedded maps, and the analytics described in the previous section works without cookies and without identifying you.
That is why no cookie consent banner is shown: there is nothing to consent to.
If you contact us
When you get in touch by telephone, by email or through the links on this website, the data you provide is used to deal with your enquiry and, where appropriate, to arrange an appointment.
Legal basis: your consent and the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR, arts. 6.1.a and 6.1.b).
Retention: communications are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and thereafter for the limitation periods applicable to any liability.
Health data
If you become a patient of the practice, the processing of your health data is governed by health legislation and is recorded in your clinical record.
Legal basis: article 9.2.h of the GDPR, which covers the processing of health data for the provision of health care, read together with Spanish Law 41/2002 on patient autonomy and Catalan Law 21/2000.
Retention: clinical records are kept for the periods laid down by the applicable health legislation.
This information is given in more detail at the practice, at your first appointment.
Who the data is shared with
Data is not passed on to third parties, except where required by law.
It may be accessed by suppliers providing services to the practice — website hosting, practice management software, dental laboratory — always under a data processing agreement requiring an equivalent level of protection.
If the email provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under an adequacy decision of the European Commission. No other international transfers are made.
Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw any consent you have given.
To do so, write to clinica@clinicadentaljg.com or come to the practice, stating which right you wish to exercise and enclosing a document proving your identity.
If you believe your rights have not been properly dealt with, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (apdcat.gencat.cat).
Security
The technical and organisational measures needed to protect the data are in place. The website is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and includes no third-party components able to access visitors’ information.
